User Registration for Advanced Photon Source (APS) and Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM)

Welcome Users and Visitors

 

New Users

New Users - One or more of the following may apply:
  • Never been assigned an Argonne badge number
  • Never been to Argonne before
  • Plan to conduct hands-on work, utilize resources remotely, mail in supplies for analysis, or collaborate on a proposal at the APS and/or CNM facilities and have never registered as a user
  • Current or former Argonne employee, but never registered as User
  • User (who has had a badge number assigned to them previously) has let their access approval lapse

Returning Users

  • Update existing biographical/contact information
  • Renew my approval for site access

NOTE: Users who have let their access approval lapse cannot access the renewal form via My APS Portal and must use the new user button to register.

Visiting Argonne

  • Not conducting hands-on work/research
  • Short-term visit to Argonne (e.g. a meeting speaker, family member, traveling companion, conference/workshop attendee, tour group member)
  • Only utilizing the ANL/APS guest computer network
  • Not a current facility user
