Beamline 20-BM-B: X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy

Description
General purpose x-ray spectroscopy beamline with multiple detection and sample environment capabilities. A toroidal focusing mirror is standard to 32 keV. Unfocused the energy range increases to 35 keV. Variable-angle harmonic-rejection mirror can also focus vertically to 30 micron. A polycapillary optic can provide a high flux 25 micron focus.
We are currently accepting mail-in samples that require minimal onsite preparation. In-situ measurements require close coordination with beamline staff and on-site experimental support from user group.
