Special Capabilities:
This beamline is equiped with an unique electomagnetic undulator capable of delivering both horizontal and vertical linear, and right- and left- circularly polarized x-rays on to the sample.
The beamline also has a high resolution x-ray emission spectrometer (resolving power ~1000 in the 500-> 1200 eV range)

Beamline Controls and Data Acquisition:
All data aquisiton on the beamline is performed on Sun workstations (UNIX/Solaris) using EPICS based applications running on VME-based electronics. MEDM is used as a graphical interface to display and control various EPICS based devices.

Detectors:
· Ge solid state
· CCD (Princeton Instruments 1024x1024)
