Important Notice
- APS Web-based database applications that require a username and password
may now be used in conjunction with cookies. This eliminates the need
to login each time you switch between web applications. (i.e. finished using
COATS, switch to WebTMS).

- Who do I contact if I have problems logging in or using an APS Web-based Oracle application?

- What is a cookie ?
- A cookie is a piece of information from a web application stored by your browser.
It can later be referenced by the web application, eliminating the need to
re-enter information.
- Can I log out ?
- Yes. The bottom of most pages includes a Log Out button.
- If I don't log out, how long will the session last ?
- The cookie currently lasts for approximately 8 hours.
- Do I have to use cookies with these web applications ?
- No. If you elect not to use cookies, the applications will function exactly as before.
- How do I elect not to use cookies ?
- Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer provide options to customize cookie use.

- warn before accepting cookies
- reject all cookies
- If the APS Web Database cookie is rejected, you will need to sign in
to each application (e.g. WebTMS, COATS, LOTO, Power Supplies) explicitly,
just as before.
